Heavy influence from the anime is obvious from the get-go Ash, Brock, Misty, Team Rocket, Gary, and others all make appearances in the game as both playable and non-playable characters. While it may not compare to other puzzle games out there, Pokémon Puzzle League is still an enjoyable time.

This is a game designed and marketed to a younger audience, one that may be turned off by the intimidating size and scope of other games that we’ll talk about on this list. Once you get past that, however, the gameplay is relatively shallow. Its presentation is top-notch, and there’s no denying its charm. One of the easier Nintendo 64 games on Nintendo Switch Online, Yoshi’s Story is the perfect example of the type of game you’d want to rent rather than buy. There’s a lot of potential within Win Back: Cover Operations, but sadly it was never fully realized. Furthermore, the graphics were limited by the Nintendo 64 hardware.
